Ina from Krugersdorp, South AfricaBeautiful - the green containers goes well with the trees. Love the long shadows, great capture! 13 Jan 2008 11:48am martie from JapanThis is simply a stunning photo! It's nice that the point of view is the same as the man and his horses! 13 Jan 2008 11:59am Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaIt's a magnificent compo, but how cruel, my gosh do they have to be sooo overloaded? 13 Jan 2008 12:29pm @Lorraine: they are not too heavy alex centrella from fresno, United StatesLike how the green compliments the brown..nice journalistic shot. 13 Jan 2008 1:26pm Michael Rawluk from Prince George, CanadaVery nice. Maybe a little more room in front of them and a little less behind. 13 Jan 2008 4:42pm Jewlya from United StatesI really like the green crates - they are unexpected and add an extra element of interest to the shot. 13 Jan 2008 4:52pm MadScientist from Düsseldorf, GermanyA beautiful scene. Reminds me of my childhood on the countryside when transporting this way was still possible. 13 Jan 2008 6:18pm merdax from tehran, IranWwo0owW! 13 Jan 2008 6:35pm standley from brou-sur-chantereine, FranceVery nice picture. I am impressed by the loads 13 Jan 2008 7:16pm Illuci from Hurdegaryp, NetherlandsInteresting picture of a hard working man with hard working animals! Luckily the tigers are behind the fence if you know what I mean :), I agree with you I commented it was a sad view. But on the other hand, man threatens the tigers in their natural environment (because they are dangerous anmals, also eating cattle and donkies), and they get maybe extinct if there are no zoos to keep the species existent. 13 Jan 2008 10:40pm Jeff from United StatesI love the subject matter in this photo. I think a bit more space to the left of the man would have been even more pleasing, although I like the photo as is, too. 14 Jan 2008 3:34am Martine Lapointe from Québec, CanadaVery beautiful rural's picture. Thanks to do discover your country to us! 14 Jan 2008 4:12am Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaNice, Eddy. The crates and trees match in color. They look like fruit crates. An interesting piece of local culture. 14 Jan 2008 7:12am shaahin from tehran, IranBecause of shadows, I prefer B&W mode, anyway, I like coposition , thanx for sharing ;) 14 Jan 2008 11:02am Illuci from Hurdegaryp, NetherlandsThis is my second comment: I now see how the picture colors match the blog colors very well!! 14 Jan 2008 9:04pm Rebecca from Leicester, United KingdomTruly superb image. Definitely not something we see everyday. And, as others have pointed out already, the composition, with the greens, is really outstanding. 14 Jan 2008 11:07pm MGB from Lisboa, PortugalAn interesting and traditional transportation company. 14 Jan 2008 11:42pm Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomNice mix of the rural peace with such wonderfully coloured loads being carried. Nicely spotted. 15 Jan 2008 11:25pm Inés from Namur, BelgiumPrendre le temps, d'aller à son rythme ... tout ce qui nous manque ici, dans nos villes envahies de véhicules motorisés ! 16 Jan 2008 11:49am Anita from West Nottingham, United StatesThanks for sharing some of the life around you. 18 Jan 2008 1:15am baobab from Cambridge, United StatesNice composition and colours: I especially like the greens and the shadows. Did you try a panoramic crop, slicing off say the top ~1/3 of the shot? This would elongate it and might add to the sense of motion. 3 Feb 2008 11:24pm |
